Dubai’s Al Barari Winter Fest brought festive cheer to residents and tourists over two weekends, featuring Christmas-themed activities like train rides, ice skating, and meeting Santa.
Visitors were enchanted by the festival's vibrant atmosphere. “We think it’s great! As far as winter festivals go, it's one of the really well-done ones. Lots of activities, you can hear the kids just laughing and having a great time. Everyone’s in a happy mood,” said Sarina Zaja, one of the festival attendees.
The festival grounds were adorned with Christmas lights, a 12-meter-tall Christmas tree, and a giant gingerbread house. Families flocked to take pictures with Santa, enjoy artificial snowfall, and explore the whimsical train rides around the venue.
Rawak Dib, Head of Marketing at Al Barari Winter Fest, expressed pride in the festival’s success: “Dubai is always hosting different events, different themes. We celebrate both Christmas, Eid, Ramadan – we celebrate everything. We’re always trying to deliver a good experience for all our visitors.”
Dib also highlighted the positive reception: “The people who come here absolutely love it. We’ve received so much good feedback. Both adults and children are happy, and many visitors have returned from the previous weekend, already asking about our next events.”
