Türkiye’s defence minister Yasar Guler met Pakistani prime minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday during an official visit, according to Ankara’s National Defence Ministry.
In a statement shared on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, the ministry said Mr Guler and his delegation held discussions with Mr Sharif and other senior officials.
Mr Guler also conveyed greetings from Türkiye’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to the Pakistani leader.
Earlier, the minister met Pakistan’s defence minister, Khawaja Asif, as well as commerce minister Jam Kamal Khan.
