Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit North Korea from 11th to 13th July, - Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced during a press briefing today.
“Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) from 11th to 13th July for bilateral talks as part of the second round of strategic dialogue between the two countries' top diplomats,” Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced.
The first round of strategic consultations took place during North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui’s official visit to Moscow in November 2024, with the meeting lasting over three hours.
According to Zakharova, Lavrov’s upcoming visit follows an agreement reached at the Russia–North Korea summit held in Pyongyang in June.
