Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Meets Russian Counterpart Andrey Belousov in Moscow
Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met with his Russian counterpart, Andrey Belousov, in Moscow to discuss strengthening the defence ties between the two nations. The meeting was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defence, during the talks counterparts underlined the importance of continued military cooperation between Russia and India.
Belousov emphasized the high level of military interaction between the two countries. "We are satisfied with the good level of military interaction between Russia and India in multilateral formats," he remarked. "I am convinced that our meeting will contribute to the further strengthening of Russian-Indian relations in the field of defence and security."
Continuing Belousov’s word, Singh, who is on an official visit to Moscow, reaffirmed India’s commitment to its close ties with Russia. "Thank you, Andrey Removich Belousov, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, esteemed delegates," he said. "It is a great pleasure for me to meet with you in Moscow today. Your Excellency, thank you for the warm and gracious hospitality you have extended to me and my delegation."
