President Ilham Aliyev to Pay Official Visit to Türkiye
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to Türkiye this Thursday. The announcement was made by Türkiye’s Communications Director, Fahrettin Altun, in a post on the social media platform X.
According to Altun, President Aliyev will visit Türkiye at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As part of the visit, the two leaders will attend the inauguration ceremony of a permanent housing complex named the "Azerbaijan Neighborhood" in the southern province of Kahramanmaras. The project was jointly constructed by Türkiye and Azerbaijan following the devastating earthquakes in February 2023.
During the visit, Presidents Aliyev and Erdogan are also expected to exchange views on bilateral relations and current regional developments.
