Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday highlighted national unity and cohesion as key factors in addressing crises, saying that no challenge can threaten the country if the people support the government, according to the official IRNA news agency.
Speaking during a cabinet meeting, Pezeshkian urged all government officials to respond swiftly whenever and wherever citizens require services. “People must feel that officials stand alongside them,” he said, calling for a responsive and people-centered administration.
He also expressed appreciation to countries that have shown support for Iran and directed his ministers to give priority to fostering cooperation with neighboring states.
The president further called for greater decentralization, stressing the importance of delegating authority to provincial officials so they can make timely and effective decisions on local matters.
