Senior Azerbaijani official Hikmet Hajiyev has dismissed the claims that Azerbaijan is sending ethnic Azerbaijanis into Iran as agents for Israel.
“These kinds of absurd and fantasy-driven allegations have no connection to reality and constitute nothing more than deliberate disinformation.” Hajiyev, who serves as the foreign policy adviser to the Azerbaijani president, wrote on his X account.
He stressed that Azerbaijan firmly rejects such false narratives and unfounded allegations.
