In a historic moment for Azerbaijani sport, the national Chovken team has been crowned European champions after a dominant performance at the European Chovken Championship, held in Poland from June 5 to 7.
Organized by the International Chovken Federation, the tournament featured teams from six countries: Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Hungary, Malta, Poland, and the UK.
Azerbaijan opened their campaign with a 3-0 win against Türkiye on June 5. In the semifinals, they continued their strong showing with a 4-0 victory over Hungary, securing a spot in the final. There, they faced Malta and claimed the title with a commanding 6-2 win.
