On April 9, at approximately 23:50, the Armenian armed forces fired upon Azerbaijan Army positions from their positions in the Musukand settlement of Tovuzgala district, using small arms, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense.
In response, Azerbaijan Army units took appropriate retaliatory measures in the affected direction, the ministry added. Further details on the incident were not immediately disclosed.
