They praised the role of their countries' leaders in fostering close relations and discussed strengthening interparliamentary collaboration, including through friendship groups and committees.
After the meeting, Gafarova was welcomed in the plenary hall of Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly.
The Azerbaijani delegation also visited areas damaged during the 15 July 2016 coup attempt.
