Azerbaijan, Slovakia explore cooperation

On July 25, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with outgoing Slovak Ambassador Milan Lajcak to review bilateral cooperation and regional developments as the envoy concludes his mission in Baku.

The two sides reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as ongoing regional and global dynamics.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked Ambassador Lajcak for his contribution to strengthening Azerbaijan-Slovakia relations and wished him success in his future endeavors.

They highlighted the significance of mutual visits, political consultations, and the role of high-level meetings, particularly the heads-of-state encounter during COP29 in Baku.

The officials underscored the existing prospects for bilateral cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, science, culture, and other domains, stressing the importance for continuing this collaboration.

Ambassador Lajcak expressed gratitude for the support received during his mission and voiced hope for continued progress in bilateral ties.

The meeting concluded with an exchange on various shared interests.
