U.S. President Donald Trump has reposted a clip of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev speaking to participants in the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, held in Khankendi.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday shared a clip of Azerbaijan’s Ilham Aliyev — originally aired on AnewZ — in which the Azerbaijani leader, hailing his “war-ending” record during the third Shusha Global Media Forum in Khankendi.
Trump used his Truth Social account early on Tuesday to repost the 85-second video, in which President Aliyev tells forum delegates that a second Trump term “would be preferable for the Azerbaijani people” because the U.S. leader “shares fundamental family values” and “has not started wars.”
“We are very grateful to him personally for his desire to help Azerbaijan and Armenia come to an agreement,” Aliyev said, urging Mr Trump to “drain the Washington swamp completely.”
