NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte is scheduled to visit Washington, D.C., on Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 15, where he will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, according to a NATO press release.

While the statement did not specify the purpose of the visit, President Trump recently told NBC News that the U.S. is prepared to supply weapons to Ukraine through NATO and that he plans to make a “major statement” on Monday. So far, the Trump administration has only delivered arms previously approved by former President Joe Biden, a strong backer of Ukraine.
