Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan presidents open new embassy in Baku

Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev jointly inaugurated the new embassy of Uzbekistan in Baku, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral strategic partnership on 2 July.

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev respectively, jointly inaugurated the new building of the Uzbek Embassy in Baku.

The two leaders ceremonially cut the ribbon marking the official opening of the embassy's modern premises.

Following the ribbon-cutting, Presidents Aliyev and Mirziyoyev toured the facility, inspecting the infrastructure and the state-of-the-art conditions prepared for diplomats.

The new complex, built to meet contemporary standards, symbolises the deepening multifaceted strategic partnership and alliance between the two brotherly nations.

Concluding the visit, both presidents inscribed heartfelt messages in the embassy’s Book of Honour, underscoring their commitment to the ongoing development of bilateral relations.
