During the official meeting, President Tatar’s participation in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), held in the city of Khankendi, was highly appreciated. As the leader of a state with observer status within ECO, his attendance was noted as significant for the expansion of cooperation within the organisation.
The sides emphasised the growing dynamic of mutual visits between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus in recent years, particularly at various levels of government.
The meeting also included discussions on opportunities for cooperation in several fields, especially in economic and humanitarian areas.
