Moscow and Baku are engaged in ongoing discussions on mutual concerns, with Russian Investigative Committee head Alexander Bastrykin and Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev in direct contact, the Kremlin confirmed.

The Kremlin confirmed that Moscow and Baku are in regular contact through senior law enforcement officials. Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin Spokesman, revealed that Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Russian Investigative Committee, is coordinating with Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev on issues of shared concern.

Peskov noted that these discussions are ongoing, but did not elaborate on the specific topics being addressed.
