Iranian state media reported that Ali Shamkhani, a senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, is alive and recovering from serious injuries in hospital.
According to Press TV, in a message to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution published by Nour News on Friday, Ali Shamkhani stated that the "dawn of victory" was near.
"The dawn of victory is near. The name of Iran will shine brightly in the history as it always has, and the smiles of the martyrs will reflect our future," the message reads.
Shamkhani, a former top security official of the Islamic Republic, was severely injured in what Iranian authorities describe as an Israeli terrorist aggression on June 13.
The news outlets claim that he is recovering from serious wounds sustained in the Israeli strike and that he is in stable condition.
