A large-scale ground operation has commenced in northern and southern Gaza, with reports of rising casualties and extensive damage to infrastructure. Efforts for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid access continue amid growing international concern.

A large-scale ground operation has begun in northern and southern Gaza, supported by aerial units, as part of a military initiative termed "Operation Gideon’s Chariots." Gaza’s Health Ministry reported at least 135 Palestinian deaths amid ongoing bombardments, with all public hospitals in northern Gaza now out of service following attacks.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi called for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid access, highlighting cooperation with the U.S. and Qatar to mediate the conflict. Meanwhile, European and Italian lawmakers protested at Egypt’s Rafah border, urging an end to the violence and unrestricted aid entry.

Medical officials report that multiple hospitals have been damaged or forced to close due to targeted strikes, severely limiting medical care for the wounded.

Additional casualties were reported in central Gaza, raising the daily death toll to 135. Israeli officials said negotiators in Qatar are working towards a deal that would include the release of Israeli captives and Hamas’s disarmament.
