As Iran entered the second day of funeral ceremonies for the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, U.S. President Donald Trump said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could visit the White House as early as next week.

Tehran hosts funeral prayers for Khamenei and family

Funeral prayers for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and four members of his family are taking place in Tehran this morning, ahead of processions in the capital on Monday and the holy city of Qom on Tuesday.

His body will then be flown to Iraq for further ceremonies before being returned to Iran for burial in Mashhad on Thursday.
