Kyrgyzstan and China strengthen ties in digital technology

Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Digital Development met with a delegation from Karamay, China, to discuss collaboration in cloud computing, data processing, and digital governance. Both sides shared experiences and invited each other to major IT events in 2025.

Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Digital Development hosted a delegation from Karamay, China, to explore cooperation in digital technologies.

According to the ministry, discussions focused on exchanging expertise in data processing, cloud computing, and digital government services.

Kyrgyz representatives showcased advancements in digitalization, including the Tunduk and G-cloud systems, while the Chinese delegation shared insights into their data center developments.

Both sides extended invitations to key technology events: Kyrgyzstan’s KIT-2025 in Bishkek on May 29-30 and the China-SCO forum in Karamay in June 2025.
