Yerlan Nyssanbayev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, believes that the participation in COP is important for all countries.
He highlighted that Kazakhstan, has adopted national strategic documents, such as the strategy for achieving carbon neutrality. He also added that Kazakhstan has achieved 7% of electricity production through renewable energy sources.
Nyssanbayev shared his hopes that by the end of COP, there's a common understanding regarding the goals of green financing and clear goals for green financing established.
