Ukranian drones hit Russian oil facilities
Oil transportation from Kazakhstan to global markets through the Tengiz–Novorossiysk pipeline has been reduced on Monday as a drone strike hit a pumping station in southern Russia.
Passengers traveling on the Astana-Almaty train can now enjoy internet access, making it the first train in Kazakhstan to provide this service as part of a pilot project.

This initiative aligns with Kazakhstan's broader goals to digitize its transportation system and improve the passenger experience, according to a Jan. 24 announcement by Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), the national railway company.
The project also includes other technological upgrades, such as mobile ticket-checking terminals, chest video cameras for train conductors, and video surveillance systems. All video recordings are stored directly in cloud storage, enhancing security and operational oversight.
