Turkmenistan’s state oil concern “Türkmennebit” surpassed its oil production plan by 7.1% in the first quarter of 2025, achieving a fulfilment rate of 107.1%.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov announced the figures during a government meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov via digital platform, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The report highlighted positive trends across Turkmenistan’s fuel and energy sector. Oil refining also met 107.1% of its target, gasoline production 102%, diesel fuel 100.8%, polypropylene 100.1%, and lubricants 100.4%. Notably, liquefied gas production saw a growth rate of 117.9%, while natural and associated gas output exceeded plans by 4.8%.
President Berdimuhamedov underscored the strategic importance of boosting oil and gas output and hydrocarbon exports. He instructed Amanov to ensure efficient use of existing production capacities and to intensify drilling operations in prospective regions.
