On Monday, an Uzbekistan delegation led by Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, met with Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister, which resulted in the signing of agreements between leading companies from both countries.
The meeting, attended by representatives from the business communities of both countries, featured the signing of several agreements aimed at diversifying economic partnerships and strengthening economic collaboration in such key industries as dairy production and processing, the chemical and electrical engineering industries, high-voltage cable manufacturing, housing construction, and the production of building materials.

Cooperation agreements were signed between Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade and Azerbaijani companies Matanat A and TuranAz. These agreements outline projects for the production of dry construction mixtures, gypsum board manufacturing, and the construction of residential buildings in the city of Namangan, Uzbekistan.
Additionally, Azerbaijani and Uzbek companies signed agreements on dairy product production. These were concluded between Panamilk and Atena, as well as Jizzax Organic and Milla Dairy.
The event also marked the signing of partnership agreements between Uzbek Havas Holding and Azerbaijani RJ Chemical Co for the production and sale of household chemicals, and between the Uzbek Uzeltexsanoat Association and Azerbaijani STP Global Cable company on a high-voltage cable production project.
