Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, met with Lazar Comanescu, Secretary General of the Permanent International Secretariat (PERMIS) of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
Their discussions focused on potential collaboration in areas such as climate change, early warning systems for weather hazards, and other environmental issues within the BSEC framework.
Additionally, they exchanged views on the outcomes of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which took place in Baku in 2024.
