P Diddy faces six new sexual abuse lawsuits, including claims involving a minor, filed just a month after his criminal charges for serious offenses. Combs has denied all allegations, with a trial set for May 2025.
On Monday, Sean Combs, known as P Diddy, was confronted with six new lawsuits alleging sexual abuse, including one involving accusations from a male plaintiff who was a minor at the time. These civil lawsuits follow a month after Combs faced criminal charges tied to an alleged scheme involving serious offenses.
In previous cases, Combs has denied any wrongdoing and has maintained his innocence in the ongoing criminal proceedings. "In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone - adult or minor, man or woman," his legal team said in a statement Monday.
The lawsuits, filed in New York federal court, include claims from anonymous plaintiffs. One plaintiff alleges that during a gathering at Combs' residence in 1998, he was directed to undress, after which inappropriate behavior occurred.
Combs was taken into custody in September and charged with multiple serious felonies. He pleaded not guilty in September, and a judge denied his request for bail on October 10. His trial is set for May 2025.
Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing over 100 individuals who accuse Combs of abuse, filed the new lawsuits and plans to file additional cases in the near future.
