'One Battle After Another' tops the Oscars with 6 awards, followed by 'Sinners' which takes 4, 'Frankenstein' 3 and Netflix's most-watched film in its history, 'KPop Demon Hunters' winning 2. There was also the rare event of a tie.

Sinners' four wins came as a surprise after its record breaking 16 nominations before the event. One of its eventual wins for 'Best Actor' by Michael B. Jordan was unpredictable for the first time in a long time.

In the line up were big names such as Michael B. Jordan, one time winner Leonardo DiCaprio, current favourite Timothée Chalamet, Ethan Hawke in Blue Moon and Wagner Moura.

'Sinners' also won another historic award after Autumn Durald Arkapaw made history as the first woman and first woman of colour to win the Best Cinematography Oscar.

This marked the first time a tie between nominees happened since 2013 when "Skyfall" and "Zero Dark Thirty" were joint winners in a category.
