The Netherlands will deliver a 100 drone-detection radars and 20 medical evacuation vehicles to Ukraine under a new €175 million ($202 million) military aid package, boosting its ongoing support for Kyiv ahead of the NATO summit this week.
Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans made the announcement in The Netherlands on Tuesday (24 June).
The radars, intended to identify incoming drones and support air defence systems, are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
Of the total, €80 million ($92 million) will specifically support drone initiatives through the international drone coalition.
This latest package follows a separate €500 million ($579 million) deal to jointly produce 600,000 drones with the Ukrainian defence industry.
Since the war in Ukraine in 2022, the Netherlands has committed approximately €10 billion ($11 billion) in military support to Ukraine.
