Iran missile hits Be'er Sheva, kills at least three
At least three people have been killed and several others injured after an Iranian missile struck the southern Israeli city of Be'er Sheva, hitting a residential building.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says there is no ceasefire agreement with Israel, directly rejecting U.S. President Donald Trump’s earlier claim of a truce between the two countries.
“As Iran has repeatedly made clear: Israel launched war on Iran, not the other way around,” Araghchi wrote.
He stressed that no formal agreement on a ceasefire or halt in military operations currently exists. Araghchi explained that Iran’s military response would only pause if Israel stops what he described as “illegal aggression” against the Iranian people by 4 a.m. Tehran time.
“The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later,” he added.
He gave no indication of further talks or negotiations taking place.
