Azerbaijan is set to enhance its air combat capabilities with a $4.2 billion deal for 40 advanced JF-17C Block III fighter jets from Pakistan. The purchase marks one of the largest defense acquisitions in the region.

Azerbaijan has finalized a $4.2 billion agreement with Pakistan to buy 40 JF-17C Block III fighter jets, the most advanced variant of the JF-17 series. These aircraft feature state-of-the-art avionics, AESA radar, sophisticated data link systems, and long-range air-to-air missiles.
