French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Singapore Thursday for the final stop of his Southeast Asia tour.

Macron and Wong will oversee the signing of agreements on defense, AI, legal affairs and transport. The French leader will also give the keynote speech at the Shangri-La Dialogue, Asia’s top defense forum.

Macron will be in Singapore on May 29 and 30 as part of the third leg of his Southeast Asian tour. He arrived from Indonesia, where he signed a preliminary defense pact that could lead to new orders of French military equipment. Before that, he was in Vietnam, where he finalized a deal for Airbus planes.

On May 30, Macron will receive a ceremonial welcome at Parliament House. He will meet President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and attend a state banquet hosted by the president in honor of him and his wife.

President will also meet again with Prime Minister Wong, who is also Finance Minister. Together, they will witness the signing of memorandums of understanding on key areas of cooperation.
