Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defenses shot down 159 Ukrainian drones on Wednesday, including several near the heavily populated Moscow region, marking one of the largest reported drone attacks on Russian territory.
Russia’s Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that its air defense systems had intercepted 159 Ukrainian drones across various regions of the country.
Most of the drones were downed over western Russia, while at least six were intercepted in the Moscow region, home to more than 20 million people, the ministry added.
