Eurovision week is here, and the 69th Eurovision Song Contest begins tonight in Basel, Switzerland, with 15 acts competing for 10 spots in Saturday’s Grand Final.
The road to Eurovision glory starts tonight as the first semi-final of Eurovision 2025 takes center stage at 21:00 CEST, live from St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. Among tonight's performances, Azerbaijan’s Mamagama will perform 10th with their song Run With U.
This year, fans will witness all 37 participating countries across two semi-finals, with the top 10 from each securing a spot in the Grand Final on Saturday, May 17. They will join the Big Five – the UK, Spain, Germany, France, and Italy – and host country Switzerland, represented by Nemo, who won Eurovision 2024.
The second semi-final, featuring another 16 acts, will take place on Thursday, May 15. Switzerland returns as host after 36 years, with the contest highlighting the country’s stunning natural landscapes.
