U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a joint call with top European and Ukrainian diplomats to discuss steps toward a ceasefire and lasting peace in Ukraine, according to the State Department.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke today with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, and European Union High Representative Kaja Kallas.
The group of foreign policy leaders discussed coordinated efforts to pursue a ceasefire and define a path toward a sustainable peace in Ukraine, amid ongoing international diplomatic efforts to end the conflict with Russia.
