Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has welcomed Russia’s latest signal for renewed peace talks with Ukraine, offering Istanbul once again as a venue for direct negotiations.

While Russia has not detailed its terms, and Ukraine has yet to respond publicly, Ankara continues to position itself as a mediator capable of bridging gaps between Moscow and Kyiv.
The call also covered broader regional issues and cooperation in defence and energy.
