British counter-terrorism police have arrested five men — including four Iranian nationals — on suspicion of planning a terrorist act.
Authorities said the arrests are linked to a suspected plot targeting a specific location. The Metropolitan Police declined to provide further details, citing operational reasons, but confirmed that the intended site had been informed and was receiving police support.
The suspects were detained in coordinated raids across Greater Manchester, London, and the town of Swindon. The Iranian nationals are aged between 29 and 46, while the nationality of the fifth man, whose age has not been disclosed, is still being determined.
