U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he had a "very productive" phone conversation with Mexico's president and a similarly "very productive" meeting with Japanese trade officials the previous day.
"Every nation, including China, wants to meet! Today, Italy!" he wrote in a post on Truth Social.
