China has accused the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) of orchestrating sophisticated cyberattacks during the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, targeting critical infrastructure and event systems. Harbin's public security bureau named three NSA agents on a wanted list and implicated two American universities in the attacks, which reportedly involved over 270,000 intrusion attempts, with more than 60% traced to U.S. sources . The Chinese Foreign Ministry expressed grave concern, urging the U.S. to adopt a responsible stance and cease such activities . The Trump administration has not yet responded to these allegations.
