Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev stated on Sunday that recent progress by Russian forces in the Kursk region has nearly surrounded Ukrainian troops.
In a Telegram post about the ongoing fighting in Kursk, Medvedev wrote, "The lid of the smoking cauldron is almost closed. The offensive continues."
