Amazon Music Unlimited is raising its subscription prices again, with new rates already in effect for new subscribers as of January 29. Existing users will see the changes reflected in their billing cycle on or after March 5.
For Prime members, the individual plan now costs $11 per month (up from $10) or $109 per year (up from $99). Non-Prime subscribers will pay $12 per month instead of $11. The family plan has also increased to $20 per month (up from $17) and $199 per year (up from $169).
Amazon justifies the price hike by citing expanded content and features, such as access to Audible audiobook borrowing and personalized year-in-review summaries. This marks the second price increase in less than two years.
