The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has extended his warm congratulations to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, as marked by the Chinese lunar calendar.
In his congratulatory message, President Aliyev expressed his wishes for the Spring Festival, or Chun Jie, a celebration symbolising the awakening of nature and the renewal of life, to bring prosperity, joy, and well-being to the Chinese people.
The Azerbaijani President also highlighted the progress in Azerbaijan-China relations, noting the elevation of bilateral ties to a strategic partnership. He expressed satisfaction with the growth of cooperation between the two nations, emphasising the strong foundation built on mutual trust and respect. President Aliyev conveyed his confidence that both countries would continue to work together, strengthening their friendly relations and deepening collaboration in alignment with the wishes of their peoples.
President Aliyev concluded his message with heartfelt wishes for Xi Jinping's good health, happiness, and success in his endeavours, along with prosperity for the Chinese people.
