Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned of an impending massive Russian attack on Ukraine. It comes days after Kyiv carried out a major aeriel assault on Russia, including striking an oil refinery just 16km (10 miles) from the Kremlin in Moscow, sparking a major fire and killing four.

Speaking in his nightly video address, Zelenskyy told Ukranians to be ready to react to emergency warnings.

"Tonight and in the coming hours, it is especially important to pay close attention to air raid warnings. The Russians have prepared for a massive attack. Please take care of yourselves," he said.

Earlier on Saturday, Zelenskyy said that Ukranian drones had struck an oil refinery in Russia's Tyumen Region in western Siberia.

He offered thanks to the Ukrainian military's special operations. "This is again oil refining. More than 2,000 km from our state border. This is effective," Zelenskyy said.

Meanwhile, Russian forces struck the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia with glide bombs, killing four people and injuring six, Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov said on Telegram.
