Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Wednesday that the most difficult situation on the front line remains the eastern city of Pokrovsk, where fighting continues to be most intense due to a strong concentration of Russian forces.
“The most difficult area now is the Pokrovsk direction. As in previous weeks, this is the area with the most intensive combat activity,” Zelenskyy said during his nightly video address following a briefing with Ukraine’s top military commanders.
