U.S President Trump reports swift progress in Gaza peace talks, with the first phase expected to conclude this week. Trump announced on Sunday that negotiations aimed at ending the Gaza conflict and securing the release of hostages held by Hamas are advancing rapidly.

In a social media post, Trump stated, "These talks have been very successful, and proceeding rapidly. The technical teams will again meet Monday, in Egypt, to work through and clarify the final details. I am told that the first phase should be completed this week, and I am asking everyone to MOVE FAST."

The talks are set to take place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, with delegations from the United States, Israel, and Hamas participating. The primary focus is the implementation of Trump's 20-point peace plan, which includes provisions for a ceasefire, the release of hostages, and the establishment of a transitional governance structure in Gaza.
