The death toll in Gaza has now reached 67,139 according to the Gaza Health Ministry, amid continuing Israeli airstrikes and military operations. In the past 24 hours alone, officials said 65 bodies were brought to hospitals and 153 people were wounded.
The ministry added that many victims remain trapped under rubble or lying on the streets, as rescue efforts are constrained by damaged roads and constant bombardment.
The cumulative figures since the conflict began on 7 October 2023 now stand at 67,139 dead and about 169,583 injured, according to the ministry.
Roughly half of the casualties are said to be women and children, per ministry statements.
