Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced on Sunday that he would address Israel’s "massacres" in Gaza at the U.N. General Assembly, expressing hope that broader recognition of Palestine could accelerate the push for a two-state solution. Before leaving for New York, Erdoğan told reporters that he would discuss trade and defense industry cooperation with U.S. President Donald Trump and meet with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa during his visit.
