Hamas said Sunday it received a new U.S. ceasefire proposal through mediators and is ready to resume negotiations.

The group said it is prepared to “immediately sit at the negotiating table to discuss the release of all prisoners in exchange for a clear declaration of ending the war and a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.”

U.S. President Donald Trump said he submitted a ceasefire and hostage-swap proposal to Israel on Sunday, claiming full Israeli approval. Netanyahu’s office said the plan is under “serious consideration.”
