Trump says U.S. troops to stay in Poland, open to increasing presence

President Donald Trump said U.S. troops will remain stationed in Poland and suggested he is open to expanding the American military presence in the central European nation.

“We’re very much aligned with Poland,” Trump told reporters, underscoring Washington’s close defence ties with Warsaw. While he did not give specifics, he noted the United States is reviewing its force posture in Europe amid broader security concerns.

Poland has been a key NATO ally, hosting thousands of U.S. troops and advanced military equipment in recent years. Trump’s comments signal continued support for bolstering deterrence on NATO’s eastern flank.
