A major fire has broken out at Hamburg’s city port, leaving several people injured.
The blaze started following an explosion in one of the port’s warehouses.
Fire services said that the fire was triggered by a car igniting inside the warehouse, causing significant damage to the facility.
The incident has also severely disrupted transport in the area. Debris from the explosion landed on a nearby motorway, prompting authorities to close the road in both directions. Hamburg police have advised drivers to avoid the area.
