A fire broke out at a transformer unit of Russia’s Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, but officials say there is no threat to safety or the nuclear section of the facility, REN TV reported.
According to REN TV, citing the plant’s press service, the fire occurred early Sunday in a transformer unit outside the nuclear section of the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant.
Authorities confirmed that the incident poses no danger to workers or the nuclear facility itself.
